I did roughly 10 modded rifts and gained 456 paragon with mods and I learned how boring it makes the game.įrom here on out I plan to only make seasonal characters and I'll be happy if I make it to 130 GR, but I doubt ill continue to play 10hr days in order to achieve this feat by season end.Īt the end of it all we are all subject to the choice of what matters to ourselves and overall I can say this game had been quite enjoyable for me and I hope to save for a PC and join the legit grinders and see where things go. With the overall time I've personally put into the game playing solo without any mods I'm proud to say I legit grinded over 1k paragon.
This is why I'm choosing to stash the mods given to me until I feel like I've adequately put in enough hours to the point of no longer caring. The only people to ever accomplish this feat are streamers who's job is to play the game or anyone who's life doesn't demand the majority of their time working a job.Īs for casuals like myself, I think we can safely say using mods does ruin the feeling of accomplishment, however it is definitely justified for anyone who's at least gotten to GR100 legit. My personal opinion is it takes a unhealthy amount of hours played per day to come even close to clearing Gr150 legit by the season end.
